Brake
Service

Your brakes are the most important safety system on your vehicle. Regular service keeps them working properly and saves you money on bigger repairs later.

01

Why you need it

Brake servicing means taking the brake system apart, cleaning and lubricating the parts, and putting it back together. Road grime, rust, heat and winter salt all wear your brakes down over time.

Neglected brakes take longer to stop and can fail when you need them most. Old brake fluid also absorbs moisture and becomes less effective.

What a brake service includes

  • Removing rust ridges
  • Cleaning and lubricating the brake pad cradles
  • Chamfering pads as needed
  • Cleaning and lubricating the caliper slides
  • Checking brake fluid level and condition
02

When to book

Have your brakes inspected twice a year, even if nothing seems wrong. We can check them at your oil change. Pads, rotors or calipers need replacing when pads wear too thin, rotors warp or calipers seize.

Book an inspection right away if you notice

  • Squealing or grinding when you brake
  • A brake pedal that pulses, shakes, sinks lower or feels harder
  • The brake warning light comes on
03

What it costs

Pricing depends on the work needed and your vehicle’s make and model. We’ll give you a time and cost estimate before any work begins.
