CV & Drive
Axles

Your axles connect your wheels to your vehicle and carry its weight. When they start to wear, you’ll usually hear it first.

01

Why you need it

The axle is the load-bearing part that keeps your wheels in the right position relative to each other and the vehicle. CV (constant velocity) joints let the axle keep turning the wheels as you steer and go over bumps.

02

When to book

Follow your manufacturer’s recommendation, and have your axles checked right away if you notice any of the signs below.

Book an inspection right away if you notice

  • Clicking or cracking sounds when you turn
  • Vibration while driving
03

What it costs

Pricing depends on your vehicle’s make and model. If you need a repair or replacement, we’ll explain exactly what’s required and give you a time and cost estimate before we start.
